Dealing with the Effects of Aging

We can't deny it. All of us will 'enjoy' the effects of aging over time. Some of us age more gracefully than others, but we all must deal with the effects of time on our bodies.

The best way to delay the aging process is to stay vibrant, limber, and active and to continuously be involved in a fitness regimen.

Concerns

There are many issues to deal with or at least be aware of or concerned about as we progress. It is important that we stay abreast of the following topics so that we can better deal with them as we all progress thru our Senior years:

Falling - is one of the most common events that causes trouble and results in serious injuries.

Incontinence problems can be embarrassing, but need not be earthshaking.

Dementia - disorientation and forgetfulness affect us all to some degree!

Vision Loss - can be minor or progressive, but can be managed with proper care.

Male Impotence - can be a real issue, but is usually treatable.

Hearing Loss - is usually progressive but manageable through technology.

Dental Problems - can be very painful and uncomfortable if not treated.

While these senior issues can present problems to us as we age, they needn't prevent us from enjoying a wonderful, active, and exciting retirement lifestyle!
